No, Ryan and I have not called off our engagement!!!
He's just out of town for the evening for his best friend's bachelor party.
What I have done all day:
cleaned(I was actually pretty excited about tackling this since our house has been disgusting the past two weeks since I've been under the weather...side note I HATE sinus infections), napped, caught up on tv shows, and am about to get ready to go out with some of my friends! Tomorrows plan consist of going to church, cooking and then Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's house.
As much as I love Ryan and our relationship, it's been nice to simply be home alone doing what I want...do not send me to jail for saying that!

I was hoping to start decorating our house for Christmas but after seeing the beyond ridiculous prices on trees yesterday at Trees and Trends I have decided to wait...

I'll be using my parents old tree and saving a whopping $200. I don't know who was more confused about why FAKE Christmas trees are so expensive, me or him?
In the meantime, I will let you know that I ordered our Christmas cards.
I got the proof the other day and immediately picked up the phone to call and increase our quantity! Funny story, but apparently TinyPrints was having a sell that day so by increasing our quantity I actually got money back...strange,huh? I'll take it though!
I actually do PLAN on blogging this week.
As a matter of in fact, I'm going to prewrite some posts so I can guarantee they will be there throughout the week.
One thing that will definitely be posted on here this week...

Such a GREAT picture! Can't wait to see the rest. I got our tree the day after Christmas on MAJOR clearance for about $20 and was normally $150 or something. We were in Birmingham at the time at some Christmas store near the Galleria - not helpful I know. Point was be on the lookout then for next Christmas! :-)
